BruStol Eid-ul-Adha Celebration

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,

 

 Yesterday, BruStol members gathered together to commemorate Eid-ul-Adha. The attendees arrived around 6PM and the event was started with the Maghrib jemaah prayer led by Fauzan followed by the recitation of takbeer and a brief talk by Fauzan which mainly focused on the stories of the Prophet Ibrahim A.S. and the reasons why muslims celebrate Eid-ul-Adha.

 

Nouzhah and Nuruddin then proceeded to give a presentation on BruStol, its committee and some of its achievements this year. Nouzhah also explained the events that BruStol have planned for this academic year.

That marked the end of the formal bits of the event as all the attendees were then invited to enjoy the foods prepared for the events. Thanks to all of you who brought extra foods!

Finally, once everybody was full and satisfied, it was time to have some fun! Mee Lin first separated the attendees into groups and then we proceeded to play a game which was a mixture of Kalimah, Charade and Humdinger.

Everything was over by 10PM and everybody reluctantly went back to their respective homes. It was a pleasure to meet all the BruStol members and we hope we met your expectations for the event. Do forgive us for any disappointments and feel free to contact Mee Lin to give feedback of the event. InshaAllah we will strive to make it better next time.
