It has become somewhat a tradition in BruStol to celebrate our country's National Day in Bristol with a whole day of activities. For the 3rd year in a row, BruStol had hosted a BruStol City Challenge(BCC) during the morning and a formal dinner at night.
This year's BCC started at 9am with the participants gathering as early as 8.30am! The event started with a morning stretch and proceeded with the first checkpoint.
This year's challenges include several quizzes of Brunei knowledge such as places of interests and our language, trying to make a ketupat, some scavenge hunting and even a pantun making segment.
During the National Day dinner, the attendees gathered in a mix of formal and traditional attire and enjoyed a Japanese cuisine. The prizes for the morning's BCC was given during the dinner.
As students studying in another country, it is a pleasure to still be able to gather and celebrate our country's special day and remember our culture and traditions.
