On 3rd February 2014, BruStol society had participated in the AIESEC Bristol Global Village event; an event organised by AIESEC where we were given the opportunity to showcase our country along with several other cultural societies in the university.
We decorated our stall with pictures and items from Brunei and filled the table with Bruneian food and drinks such as penyaram and teh tarik made from fellow Bruneians.
The event was a success with most of the food sold out. Thank you to fellow members that helped made the event a success whether by taking time to prepare food, helping at the stall or even by just dropping by. Hopefully we've been able to showcase a bit of our food and culture to students in Bristol.
